The Ohio Weather Band
The Ohio Weather Band is a 3-piece rock and roll outfit from Akron, OH.
Over the past few years, the band has released two full-length albums, embarked on several national tours, and shared the stage with bands such as Collective Soul, Bastille, and Bon Jovi at the Q Arena.
“The Akron-based garage-blues band the Ohio Weather Band won a contest to open for the group [Bon Jovi], and the guys fared well in their Quicken Loans Arena debut. Their organ and electric-guitar fueled songs often featured vigorous jams that managed to nicely fill the arena.” – Jeff Niesel, Cleveland Scene
“Akron’s Ohio Weather Band won a contest to open the show, and performed a short but interesting four-song set. Lead singer and guitarist Corey King has a solid voice that sounds a bit like Ed Sheeran, but with more oomph. Definitely a band to watch.” – Chuck Yarborough, The Plain Dealer
